The Warrenville Park District publishes Requests for Proposals (RFPS), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and bid specifications for a variety of projects, programs and products. Bids, RFPs and RFQs are published in local newspapers in compliance with local, state and federal laws. A summary of current project descriptions are listed below. You may also contact the department by phone, mail or email to request to be included on a list of vendors surveyed for specific projects.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WARRENVILLE PARK DISTRICT CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Sealed bids for Custodial Services will be received by the Warrenville Park District at its
Recreation Center, 3S260 Warren Avenue, Warrenville, Illinois 60555. Bids will be received until
exactly 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 and then publicly opened and read. Bids
submitted after the closing time will be returned unopened. No oral, telephone, or fax proposals
or modifications will be considered.
The proposed work consists of furnishing cleaning materials (except for those provided by the
Warrenville Park District), labor (no subcontractors allowed), and equipment necessary to provide
custodial services for the Warrenville Recreation Center and Warrenville Community Building for a

Recreation Center‐Administrative Office, 3S260 Warren Avenue, Warrenville, Illinois 60555, (630)
393‐7279. Bid documents may also be found online at www.warrenvilleparks.org.
There will be a mandatory pre‐bid meeting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the
Warrenville Park District Recreation Center, 3S260 Warren Avenue, Warrenville, IL 60555. A
walk‐through tour of the buildings will be conducted at that time.
Warrenville Park District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informality,
and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Warrenville Park District. No bidder may
withdraw his proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of the
contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. Bids must
be good for 60 days.
Determining Prevailing Wage Rates
On June 21, 2018 the Board of Park Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2018-06 determining the prevailing wage rates as required by law. Those rates may be found by clicking on to the hyperlink below.
