Youth Obstacle Course Race

Registration Policies

Registration is accepted online, by phone, mail and in person. Registration is not accepted by instructors, nor are they allowed to give authorization for patrons to exceed the listed maximum per class. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Waivers

Waivers are required each time you register for a program, trip, and activity. If you register by phone, you will receive an e-mail receipt and waiver you will need to sign and return to the Registration Office prior to the start of the class or bring it with you on the first day of class.

Hold Harmless

For insurance purposes, participation in Warrenville Park District programs and activities requires a signed waiver. By registering to participate in these recreation programs, each resident/non-resident realizes the inherent risks involved in the program and appreciates the nature of these risks. The applicant holds the park district harmless for any damage caused by participation in these programs. The park district provides no medical insurance. Your fax or online signature will be considered your original signature.

Behavior Management/Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, siblings, volunteers and affiliate groups are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times.  The following guidelines have been developed to help make all of the Park District programs, events and affiliate programs safe and enjoyable for all participants.  Additional rules may be developed for specific programs as deemed necessary by staff.

Online Waivers

When you submit a registration on our website, you will be asked to read our waiver. Your submission of a registration acknowledges that you consent to the waiver, and therefore do not need to come in and sign a waiver unless it is for a trip or camp registration, which are higher risk programs.

Non-Resident Status and Park District Boundaries

Warrenville Park District residents pay property taxes that contribute to the operation of the park district and have resident status. Non-residents of the Warrenville Park District pay a slightly higher flat rate fee per program. Active Adult Programs and Trips do not have a non-resident fee charge. Programs offered on Community Unit School District #200 property are available to residents of the respective school district at resident rates. A copy of a map showing the park district boundaries is available for review at the Park District Recreation Center. If you are unsure of what your status is, contact us at 630.393.7279 to find out.

Registration Deadlines

Deadlines have been set for each class. Please register prior to registration deadline. We try to establish class status at least one week prior to starting dates unless otherwise designated.

Class Transfers

If you wish to transfer to a different class, you may call or stop in at the Registration Office during office hours. All transfer requests will need to be approved by the program supervisor prior to participation in the new class.

Wait List

Many of our classes have registration limits. Because of facility space and staff limitations, we cannot always guarantee you will be enrolled in the class of your choice. The Park District maintains waiting lists for classes that have reached their maximum registration and encourages everyone to be placed on a waiting list. We will open additional classes whenever possible.

Special Accommodations

The Park District makes reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities to participate in our programs. Please contact the Warrenville Park District at 630.393.7279 or visit our Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) page (link) for more information.

Photo Guidelines

Periodically, photographs and videos are taken of participants during programs, special events, trips or at our parks. These photographs may be used for park district publications and/or newspapers. Please note that we do not identify the people in the photographs. Patrons may be asked to sign a photo release form in certain instances.
