The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a leadership team that gives middle and high school students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and brainstorm imaginative programs and event ideas. TAG members will meet monthly and engage through team building and planning. These youth will also be involved in managing a program budget and learning how to allocate funds for instructors and supplies. The goal of the program is to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for teens to have recreational opportunities as well as social and emotional support.

TAG Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Warrenville resident in 7th-12th grades for the current academic year.
  • Must commit to a 1-year term (August to May).
  • Must submit a completed application form.

What will TAG do:

  • Represent Warrenville teens through community engagement.
  • Act in an advisory capacity to the Warrenville Park District in matters pertaining to the teen population, especially as related to programs and events.
  • Plan, promote, and execute activities or programs based from the needs of the community and your interests.
  • Act as an advocate for youth and teens
