10/17/25 Update:
This week they finished installing the wood flooring and it has been cleaned, leveled, and acclimated. Beginning on Monday, they will start the sanding and finishing.
The work will continue with:
- Painting the court lines
- Applying a protective finish
- And finally, curing time to ensure a safe and long-lasting surface
10/10/25 Update:
This week they continued replacement of the floor. The bleachers were moved out to replace the floor underneath. They anticipate the laying of flooring by the end of next week.

10/3/25 Update:
We’re making exciting progress on our gym floor repairs following a recent sprinkler system issue. The gym has also been given a fresh coat of paint, the subfloor installation is complete, and as of today, our new wood flooring planks are going in!

Closure Beginning Monday, September 15
Due to a recent sprinkler system issue in our gymnasium, we’ve experienced water damage beneath the gym floor. After a thorough inspection by our restoration and flooring partners, as well as our insurance provider (PDRMA), it has been determined that the best course of action is to fully replace the gym floor.
What to Expect:
*Track members may use the fitness center during the closure.
*Demolition begins Monday morning and will require temporary closure of the gym and track during this phase.
*After the old floor is removed, the concrete base will be dried completely before new flooring is installed.
*While we don’t have a firm reopening date, we’re committed to keeping you informed and additional updates will be shared as we move through each phase.
We are working to relocate programs affected by the closure whenever possible. Participants will be contacted directly by their program supervisor with updates regarding any changes to location, schedule, or cancellations.
We understand this impacts your regular routine and appreciate your patience as we make necessary improvements to ensure a safe and high-quality space for everyone.
