The Warrenville Park District is proud to announce that we’ve been recognized as an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency by the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD) and the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA). The award was accepted a luncheon during last weekend’s IAPD IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference. This is our third time earning Illinois Distinguished Accreditation, a distinction held by only 49 agencies statewide – an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.
This prestigious accreditation reflects a rigorous, year-long evaluation of our operations, policies, facilities, and services – and confirms our commitment to providing exceptional park and recreation opportunities for our community. The evaluations included reviews of general management procedures, finance and business operations, facilities and parks, personnel, recreation services, legal documentation and other materials including mission statements, goals and safety manuals.
