We are proud to announce that Barb and Bill Crabtree have been awarded Illinois Association of Park District’s Outstanding Citizen Volunteers of the Year Award. The award recognizes citizens’ volunteer efforts to enhance a park district, forest preserve, conservation, recreation or special recreation agency program, service, parkland, open space or facility. The award was presented at IAPD’s annual Best of the Best Awards Gala on Friday, October 15, at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, Illinois.
Barb and Bill have been volunteering with the Warrenville Park District for over 16 years. They can be found every Tuesday serving senior lunch. They exemplify the virtue of service and are considered part of the Tuesday Lunch Bunch family. It was our sincere honor to nominate them for this award.
